Oktoberfest 2021, the Realm of Numenor's annual Belegarth event
September 30 to October 3, 2021 Gate opens noon on Thursday.
Location: Indiana State Sanatorium 3838 E Old 36 Rd, Rockville IN, 47872 https://www.facebook.com/thesanatoriumproject It's a big site (220 acres). It is a private site. Lot's of paved roads, woods, meadows, trails and more. It is about an hour from the Indianapolis International Airport.
Covid: Proof of vaccination required for attendees 12 and over. Event cancellation possible if pandemic flares up.
Deviation from Book of War: None
Camp selection; 10 am Thursday. Gate for camp selection participants - 5 pm Wednesday. Each camp can send two representatives. Each camp must provide 8 hours of volunteer services to event if they participate in camp selection (Troll, marshalling, weapons check, etc). This is a new site! There are no historic group campsites. You may want to send someone.
Cost: $20 whenever you show up. Under 12 free.
Preregistration: No preregistration in the event we must cancel.
Minors must bring a notarized and signed waiver to the event - OR - have a legal guardian present for the entirety of the event and sign the waiver in troll.
***Minors with only a waiver must have a chaperone 21 or over present the entire time the minor is on premises. If the either chaperone or the minor is asked to leave the event by event staff or the park, both the chaperone AND minor must leave.*** Minors under 16 are not allowed to fight, but still need a waiver. General Site Rules: This is a private site. Do not go into into buildings that are not obviously public and open. Tours of the historic buildings will be available. You can be removed by the event by either Numenor or the site management. No ground fires, no glass bottles, pets on leash. Disruptive dogs asked to leave.

Weapons Check hours: 10am-11:30am Friday, and Saturday.
Fighting: Thursday/Friday/Saturday 12-7 (we are in the Eastern Time zone with sunset at 7 pm)!
Camping: Primitive tent camping is included, camper sites are available for an additional fee that must be set up through the park (most likely $10 night).
Restrooms: Two public buildings have permanent toilets, there will be outhouses throughout the park. There will be a shower trailer this year before the new shower house is complete.
Firewood: There is a permanent coffee shop on the site. It will be selling firewood, ice, drinks and food.
Vendors: No additional vendor fee. Food vendors will be required to have an Indiana Food safety certificate. This is in addition to the cost to troll in and attend the event.
